The "Belt and Road" Chinese Art Exhibition opens in Beijing
People's Daily, Beijing, May 14 (Reporter Li Xiang) On the occasion of the 1st and 1st International Cooperation Summit Forum, the Lu Xun Chinese Painting Exhibition with the theme of ¡°One Belt and One Road¡± human civilization was held today at the Beijing National Museum. 145 paintings depict the splendid natural scenery and cultural features of the countries along the route. His works are based on the spirit of Silk Road, which seeks to highlight the humanistic spirit contained in the ¡°Belt and Road¡± and interpret the value concept of the ¡°human destiny community¡±.
Lu Hao is a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. He is currently an executive deputy director of the China National Academy of Painting and a doctoral supervisor of the Chinese Academy of Arts. In the early 1980s, he began to concentrate on the creation of Chinese landscape paintings. With his series of works such as "Contemplation, Eight Abroads," "Spiritual Homeland," "Greatness in the World," "Happiness in the Other Side", "Beautiful Landscape in Heshan", and "Greatest Meaning in Heaven and Earth," Landscapes, Universe, and Life As the three major creative motifs, it has formed a multi-level, multi-perspective, multi-scene, multi-metaphor open-ended painting pattern, which has been widely recognized and praised by the Chinese art community. Inspired by the ¡°One Belt and One Road¡± initiative and promoted by the ¡°Belt and Road¡± international art project of the China National Academy of Painting, Lu Hao sketched his life in the countries along the line and successively created nearly 200 series of works. He is not confined to the creation of scene reproduction, but uses the silk road spirit as the core, based on the Chinese aesthetic angle of view, to break the boundaries of the division of art and space and time, and to use the blooming and contrasting relationship of large areas of color to imagery. The combination of superposition and realism techniques recreates the unique ethnic customs and cultural symbols along the route. The exhibition was jointly sponsored by the Chinese Artists Association, the "Global People" magazine, the China National Academy of Painting, the National Museum of China, and the Central Digital Television Painting and Calligraphy Channel. Beijing Badue Jinxiu Culture Development Co., Ltd. and other units jointly sponsored the exhibition.
